This is to certify that the Charter or Working Certificate of Lodge Star in the East, holding under the Grand Lodge of Scotland, at Yokohama, known as Lodge Star in the East No. 640, S.C., was confiscated by the Japanese Authorities at the time of the outbreak of the war between Japan and the British Empire. We the undersigned, officers and members of Lodge Star in the East 640, S.C. subscribe our signatures hereto in evidence of sincerity and good faith.
